Argentina se desvela para recibir a sus dioses del olimpo: Messi y la selección con la Copa del Mundo

La selección argentina de fútbol, liderada por el astro Lionel Messi, arribó en la madrugada del martes a Argentina, donde una multitud la recibió fervorosamente tras lograr la Copa del Mundo ante Francia, en una dramática final disputada en Qatar.

Pese a llegar al principal aeropuerto de Buenos Aires a mitad de la noche, los jugadores eran esperados por miles de fanáticos que seguían celebrando el título obtenido el domingo y vieron a Messi descender del avión que los trajo de Qatar con la Copa del Mundo en sus manos.

Tras dormir en las instalaciones del predio que la Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA) posee cerca del aeropuerto de Ezeiza, los jugadores partirán al mediodía rumbo al Obelisco, el monumento emblemático del centro de Buenos Aires, para celebrar el título mundial con los hinchas, en un evento que se prevé que sea masivo.

Argentina venció 4-2 en la definición por penales a la selección francesa, luego de igualar 3-3 en un vibrante partido que fue catalogado por la prensa como una de las mejores finales de la historia de los mundiales. Medios locales calculaban que ya había más de 100.000 personas esperando a los jugadores en el Obelisco.

Messi, de 35 años, adelantó que la final frente a Francia sería su último encuentro en mundiales de fútbol, aunque tras el cotejo afirmó que probablemente juegue unos partidos más con la selección Albiceleste.
